About the Producer

Natalia V. Navarro is a Denver-based radio reporter. She produced this project and website in Tucson, Arizona as a master's student in 2018. She studied journalism with a focus on migration at the University of Arizona. Navarro also earned her undergraduate degree at the UA where she graduated cum laude in journalism and economics. She is currently the morning reporter for Colorado Public Radio.
